Mullum Organic Food Co-op
Mullum organic food co-op is a not for profit, community food co-operative that is run by members for the members.
The aim of the co-op is to empower access to local, affordable and organic whole foods for all.
The goal is that together we can contribute towards sustaining the health of our local economy, each other and our planet.
The co-op is open on Tuesdays and Fridays from 10 am to 4 pm and on Saturdays from 10 am to 1 pm.
To become a member there is a 6-month fee of $40 or yearly fee of $60 per person/solo or couple or per household.
Members are actively welcome and encouraged to participate in the running of the co-op. The more hands there are to assist as shopkeepers the more days and hours the co-op will be able to open and the more we can grow as a community.
As well as assisting during shop hours there is always plenty of work behind the scenes, fundraising for maintenance, bookkeeping, grant writing, social media, writing the newsletter, cleaning, repairs, organising work bees and maintenance.
Why volunteer?
When you volunteer you will receive up to 25% discount off your shopping. To volunteer, go into the coop and put your name down and grab the volunteer coordinators phone number. We can’t wait to have you as a member and volunteer.
